Guided by the seasons, VILLA HUNDERT translates the alpine landscape into sustainable, harmonious flavors. Our culinary concept relies on smoke and time, using open fire and fermentation to give local harvests unexpected depth. We work in close partnership with regional producers who share our reverence for the earth - a spirit that flows… also directly into our wine cellar, which celebrates artisanal mountain wines from Switzerland and our neighboring Alpine regions, handpicked to mirror the ever-changing rhythm of our menu.
Our menus evolve with the seasons, bringing the vibrant energy of Engelberg straight to your plate. Spring awakens with pure, fresh shoots sprouting through the snow alongside delicate mountain lamb. Summer matures into a sweeter, vibrant palette, highlighting up to twenty different native plants foraged along our hiking trails. As Fall arrives, we embrace rich, smoky notes, turning to earthy roots, frostbitten forest mushrooms, and our first winter preserves. Finally, Winter digs deep into a cellar of complex fermentations, beautifully pairing them with pristine Swiss lake fish and premium alpine meats.

Every evening, Christian curates a fluid beverage pairing handcrafted to elevate John’s creations. Our focus is raw, artisanal mountain wines from Switzerland and its neighbors - though you might find a few hidden treasures from the lowlands, too. Our restaurant opens Wednesday through Saturday evenings (seasonal variations), serving a Tasting Menu.
Dinner Service: Begins promptly at 19:30
The Ritual: You are warmly invited to arrive early for an aperitif on our terrace, in the lounge, or by the fireplace.
Menu: CHF 165 (excluding drinks)
Wine Pairing: CHF 80
Booking: Reservations are mandatory
Dietary Notes: Sourcing wild, seasonal ingredients depends entirely on product availability, meaning we cannot accommodate all restrictions. Please contact us prior to booking. As every menu is intricately crafted in advance, last-minute changes are not possible.

Please fill out the below form with the wished value or choice of gift (dine&sleep package or just dine) for the voucher. You will then receive an email with link for payment. Once this has been completed the voucher will be sent out to the recipient.
Please note, that a confirmed booking is not included with the voucher; the recipient has to then book themselves, after receiving their GIFT VOUCHER.
